Our Story
Outstanding Solutions Afrika was born from a shared passion for hospitality — and a deep understanding of its challenges on the ground.
It began in Tanzania, where founder Laura Minde saw firsthand the struggles her father faced running a hospitality business: the constant search for the right people, the gaps in training, and the difficulty of building a truly motivated team. What started as a personal observation quickly revealed itself to be a widespread industry issue — one that needed a focused, long-term solution. Driven to close that skills gap, Laura launched Outstanding Solutions, a boutique human capital firm focused exclusively on the hospitality and tourism sector. With a growing impact in Tanzania, the journey soon expanded across borders.
In Rwanda, Kagame Steven, a Certified Marketer (MCIM) and Certified Transformational Leadership Facilitator with over 9 years of experience, was working toward the same goal, raising service standards and developing local talent. Brought together by their shared commitment, Laura and Kagame co-founded Outstanding Solutions Afrika – Rwanda, combining regional insight with a unified mission.
Together, they are building a pan-African platform that helps hospitality businesses grow through people — through skills, service culture, and sustainable transformation.

Laura Minde
Founder & Managing Director
Laura brings over 15 years of hospitality expertise, an MSc in International Hospitality Management (Institut Paul Bocuse / EM Lyon), and certifications as a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) and Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT). She leads OSA's strategic vision and training delivery, and is a recognized voice on service excellence in East Africa, including columns for The New Times Rwanda and recognition as an award-winning speaker, having placed 1st at the District Level Toastmasters International Speech Contest.
Kagame Steven
Co-Founder (Rwanda)
Kagame is a Certified Marketer (MCIM) and Certified Transformational Leadership Facilitator with 9+ years of experience. He co-leads OSA's Rwanda operations as Co-Founder, driving service standards and training delivery across the market, and co-facilitates OSA's flagship programs, including the CX Masterclass Series.
Hagai G. Mhagama
Talent Acquisition & HR Operations Officer
Hagai brings hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment and HR operations across hospitality, corporate, and NGO sectors. He manages recruitment delivery and client placements while supporting OSA's HR documentation, compliance, and candidate database systems.
Mary Fabian
Senior Talent Acquisition Officer
Mary brings proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment mandates across mid-level and senior roles, with a strong track record in client relationship management. As Senior Talent Acquisition Officer, she leads recruitment execution and mentors the talent acquisition team.
Neema Msuya
Finance & Operations Officer
Neema brings strong financial management and operations expertise to OSA. She oversees the company's financial reporting and operations, ensuring smooth, well-organized delivery across the business.
